Handay is a self-service café in the heart of Venice, which sells artisan desserts and ice cream.
Its LAGO design furnishings create a suspended, almost aquatic space: an explicit reference to this floating city on the lagoon.
We came up with the brand name and visual identity, creating an environment that is both international and welcoming, and that could communicate to customers the quality of Made in Italy products.

The brand was designed to suit the different marketing areas in which it was to be used, becoming synonymous with lifestyle.
We created a pictogram as a recognizable element that would become the focus of a viral social campaign - a smile is a direct reference to the innovative, fun, and relaxed mood of the context.
The visual identity is based on the colour yellow, which suggests authenticity and sweetness. It's a warm colour that stimulates your appetite while bringing a smile to your face.
